Embedding video clip

Fairly new user....
I copied a video onto a CD and now am trying to embed the clip into a
PowerPoint slide. How can I get it to embed so that the PowerPoint user can
click on the slide when he/she is ready for the clip to play?

Put the video in the same foder as the presentation file.

Insert > movies and sounds> movie from file choose the option to play "when
clicked"

Note the movie cannot be embedded if sending to another PC you need to send
the whole folder
