Can anyone recommend a specific embedded board that will run in extreme
temperatures but still have some of the interfaces/periherals of a standard
board (i.e. ethernet port, USB, IDE ).

We're operating in an environment that can run 130 degrees or more.

Any proven ideas?

Raleigh,
I am working on a project that subjects our device to outdoor elements. We
had to consider all weather elements and how to protect the system; our
solution was to install our device in a NMEA enclosure with a peltier
cooler. With the cooler, we can achieve a temperature delta of 40 degrees
to the ambient temperature. I am quiet positive that you could achieve a
greater value than 40 if you wished.

Sean Gahan

Which peltier did you use? We're seeing panel temps of 130 already, and
it's not even hot as it gets in South Texas.
We are also looking for a touchscreen that will endure some pretty low and
high temps.
