I'm trying to embed a sound file into my powerpoint 2003
presentation. I want to send it out as one file with the
sounds embedded but even when I change the Link size in
the Tools/Options/General setting to over 50Mb the sound
file is not embedded but always linked. It's only 300k.
Can anybody help?

Only WAVs can be embedded. Are you using a WAV?

After changing the setting in Tools/Options/General, you have to reinsert
the sound. Changing that setting after inserting the sound won't help.

Thanks

No. Originally I was trying to embed an MP3 then I
converted it to a WMA. I'll try WAV now. Thanks
