This may have several causes. Do you have enabled the option "Leave copy
on server" that you find in your account options? If so, disable it.
But, I think, probably a corrupt profile causes this behavior. Creating
a new profile might help.
If you have three accounts defined in your send/receive group and they all
reference the same mailbox on the mail server, you'll see this problem.
