Emails keep arriving in in-box even after being deleted!

Emails keep arriving in in-box even after I have deleted
them. They just keep coming back and I have duplicate
emails in my inbox.

Also after 53 messages of 446 outlook tells me there is an
error and receiving stops.

what is this all about?

Are you using the corporate/workgroup option, POP3, IMAP or some
combination of the above?
