I was using MS Outlook to check my emails, but i had a
problem with Windows, so had to reinstall it, when i did
this i went to pragram files, ms office etc etc and tried
to open outloo, but it said this softae has not been
installed for this user, please reinstall. after i did
this i opened outlook, and saw that all my emails i had
before i reinstalled windows had gone, do the emails in
outlook get saved into a folder? because when i
reinstalled office i did it in another folder, so if the
emails do get saved into a folder hopefully they will
still be there.
Can someone tell me what the folder is caller, if there
is one.
Very quick reply would be helpful, thanks!

Shirish.

All of your data (mail, appointments, contacts, tasks, etc.) are stored in a
file with a .PST extension. Search your drive for all .PST files -- if
you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to make sure you're searching
in hidden and system folders to make sure you don't miss any .PST files
hiding there.

Look here for all the information you need on backup and restoration of
Outlook data:
