Hi Guys
I'm having major headaches with the whole emailing program, system whateva
you want to call it. I'll start from the beginning; there's several. Thanks
in advance.

Why am I repeatedly asked (practically every time I touch a key!) for my
username and password? I'm not familiar with 'email'.

Have you set up Windows Mail as instructed by your mail provider?

See his link from my website on how to set up a mail account:

I sure hope so!!, I even had someone helping (who is computer literate) until
a situation arose and he had to leave; but prior to him leaving he assured me
everything was set to go!.....I guess not.
Thanks anyway I'll keep plodding.

Thanks Bob

Assuming all your account settings are correct, there is a possibility
that your antivirus program is interfering. Windows Mail is not
compatible with most McAfee and Norton security programs.
Those will need to be uninstalled, NOT just disabled.

If after uninstalling your antivirus the Windows Mail problem does
not improve, delete the corrupted mail account, restart Windows Mail,
then recreate that account.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like:
AVG free edition:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff
or
Avast free edition:
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

With either of those, during the install phase you must select custom
install, and then deselect the email scanning option.

Who is your mail provider?
They should have instructions on a webpage.
