That's a good guess, Dave. The way you link them is critical. They must be
linked as "relative" to the presentation. Put all of the AVI's in the same
folder as the presentation. Then open PowerPoint and open the presentation.
Delete the AVI's and then re-insert them, this time pointing to their new
location. Save the presentation and zip it up again and email it. Have the
end user unzip the file to a folder on their system and run the
presentation. It should work fine now.

the PP and avi's, and emailed them. When the recipient gets the PP, the
opening "frame" of the avi is in the PP, but they are unable to play the
avi's. They work just fine when I play the PP on my computer, and the
recipient has the identical system (we all have the same laptops in our
school district). Am I not "linking" them correctly, or something?
