I am trying to retrieve email from my computer that has Vista installed onto
my other computer with windows XP. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Windows Mail stores mail as .eml files, which Outlook Express ought to be
able to import. However, it stores some information about the messages in
other types of files, which I doubt that Outlook Express can import.

You might want to check whether Microsoft's new email program, Windows
Live Mail, can run under your version of XP. It will run under Vista, so it
could give you the chance to have the same email program on both computers.
