To use a mail client like Mail with Yahoo, I think you must a version if Y
mail other then the standard free version.

I have a premium account and it works like a charm with Vista Mail or any
other mail client.

US-based free Yahoo accounts do not get POP access. Those only have
web browser access.

I cannot figure out how to set up my yahoo email. I got all the info from
yahoo to set it up,
but it does not work. by the way I have Vista on my computer. I keep
getting error messages telling me my log in info is wrong and error
#0x800ccc78.
Thanks. I set up the gmail and it works fine.

Of course you could download and install YPOPS, a free program that will let
you integrate your free Yahoo account into your email client.
