I have a contact form on my company's website and would like the contact
information that is entered in the contact form to be sent to me in a manner
that does not require me to manually enter the contact info into my Access
database.

I was thinking about having the website contact form automatically generate
and send an emailed to me with the xml record as an attachment. Does anyone
know if I would be able to simply open the attachment using Access and have
the contact information roll into the database or Access form?

I am certainly open to suggestions and advise if someone has already crossed
this bridge.

I am working with a PDF file that emails me XML data. I save that data to my
desktop and then import directly to Access. If everything is in a flat record
(meaning one table), it works very well.

I haven't investigated publishing the PDF to a website, but I know it's been
done. Perhaps that could get you a step further along?

Also, there is a content management system called Mambo, which has a nice
component called Facile Forms (facileforms.biz). It allows custom forms to be
developed that will send XML data directly to any email address you specify.
Not as easy to use as a PDF generator, but it's already a web-based form.
