I have many users on a wan that have used pst files to down load email for
over a year with no problem. Now they get the email server cannot be
contacted message in the lower right corner. If I reboot the server it works
fine for about 24 hours. The twist is you can ping the server with both dns
and netbios names. The ping times are 10 to 24 ms. This has been driving me
nuts for about 2 weeks now. Any help would be greatly welcomed. Its not just
one of them but all of them at the same time.

Thanks!

Where are these PST files located?

on the c: drive

Then it doesn't seem likely that the PST files are related at all. What kind
of mail server are they connecting to, and over what kind of connection? Are
you using Exchange in HQ, and remote users use POP/IMAP/MAPI to connect?
More info might help.
