when i email someone using vista mail (gmail), how fast does it take to get
to the sender? is it like a txt message? i am emailing to someones phone.

There is no set amount of time. Normally, it can take anywhere from a few
seconds to a few minutes. It all depends on how busy the mail servers are
at that moment.

It depends on many things on the network. Once you click send, you have no
control over this.

For example, if you happen to send at a time when your mail provider is
updating spam filters, mail can be delayed hours.

There is no way to give an accurate answer to your question as asked.
