I am trying to add a logo (.gif) file to my signature.
That works fine, but anyone that receives it always gets
it as an attachment, even though there is no attachment.
So, it's more of a nusiance than anything else. Is there
a way to add a .gif file to my signature and prevent it
form being delivered as an attachment?

It all depends on the recipient, over which you have no control. If the
recipient is using Outlook2003, all attachments such as .gifs will not
display by default. As well, if a person is using read all mail as plain
text, your image will be lost.

Very few people appreciate animated messages or signatures.
