Hello all-

I had a user that was showing logged in to a certain domain 'ntdomain',
however there really was no domain, it was supposed to be a workgroup.

So, I went to the ID properties and changed the user (who was logged in as
Administrator, no password) to join the workgroup of 'ntdomain'.

I restarted and everything else showed back up such as profile settings and
desktop programs and icons. But when I went to the Outlook Express and
Outlook apps, it asked me to reiconfigure like they had never been run
before!!!!

How do I get the email settings and email back????

Please help, Im in so much trouble.

Thanks,
Sarah

Import from the now orphaned profile in \documents and settings

By default the Store folder is
%userprofile%\Application Data\Identities\{SID}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
(Also note the directory may be hidden)

I will try that right now.
What about profiles/settings in regular Outlook? I believe it is Outlook
2000.

Sarah

You can import the *.pst

The default store for the *.pst file is;
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
