Email Problem

I have xp pro and I keep getting the error message with hotmail and net
passprot "you have made too many unsuccessful signin attempts with an
incorrect password" EVERYTIME,.Even when its the first time I have tried. If
I keep re-entering my password , it will finally let me sign in. It didn't do
this before we installed xp pro.....
 
sounds like a problem with your .net passport. Web based things of that
nature (MSN, Hotmail, Yahoo, whatever) is usually not a problem with your OS
 
sounds like a server problem, alot of post with e-mail
problems one can possibly say its the server--but just a
guess
 
Is there an error message? If so what is it?
