Mike

I opened my computer up this morning and tried to send an
email. It worked fine last night. But this morning I found
that my own computer is blocking the email through Port 25

The message could not be sent because one of the
recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail
address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'email test',
Account: 'mail', Server: 'mail.domainname.com', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 rejected because
142.XXX.XXX.233 is is blacklisted at ', Port: 25, Secure
(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I tried to send through both Outlook and Outlook Express

any help appreciated

Here's the critical part:

'550 rejected because 142.XXX.XXX.233 is is blacklisted at '

Its possible that the ISP that owns 142.xxx.xxx.233 is not religious about
dealing with spammer's, and as a result, they've been added to a black list
by the recipients ISP.
