Karen

I'm using Outlook 2000 with Win 98se.
When I print an email, the only choice I have for a print
style is "memo". I usually just want the email itself,
without my name at the top. Is there any way I can get
rid of my name at the top, or at least get other styles?
The edit function doesn't offer much for customizing.
Thanks.

Karen, when you print the e-mail you want, highlight only what you want to
print, then right click ON the highlighted text. When the window comes up,
on the left you have choices of what pages, All, Range of pages and
Selection. Click 'Selection,' this way you print only what is highlighted.
This will work on about 95% of what you may print. Web pages, Word, etc.

This only works for HTML formatted messages (they use IE's print control),
not plain text or RTF messages.

Karen - No, you can't remove the name or header from a message. Even if the
message is HTML and you select part of it, you'll still get the header and
your name at the top. If you hit forward and print you'll get just the
message body, at least in some versions of Outlook.
