Email options

My operating system is Vista, when using Microsoft Mail…I have checked the
box under tools, options, send, “Automatically complete email addresses when
composing†but I get zero or only get one or two options when I chose. Can
you suggest a help?
 
the auto complete is far from perfect.

it usually takes using the same name several (2-3) times before it remember it.

then it keeps a list of last used and the names fall off the end when more come in from the top.

The list it gets addresses to complete the addresses with is not the
Contacts
list. It uses the last 29 addresses you sent messages to instead.

You may prefer to start the outgoing message, click on Tools in the new
message box, and then Select Recipients. This gives you the whole
Contacts list to choose from.
