First, did you turn logging on? Go to Tools, Options, Maintenance and the
log controls are at the bottom of the dialog.
The mail log, called smtp.log, will usually be in the store folder where the
rest of your email files are. Go to Tools, Options, Maintenance, Store
Folder to see where this is. You can copy and paste that text into the
Start, Run box to open that folder, which is helpfully often set to hidden
by default.
If it isn't there, do a search for that file.
