Hi,

Someone in our Company setup a users Outlook client to
pull the email down from our exchange server to their
local hard drive. What is the Switch or setting in Outlook
2003 to have the users email stay on the server? What are
the pros and cons of keeping users emails on server aposed
to having their email reside on their hard drive?

Thanks,

JJ

Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing e-mail accounts. Select the
Exchange server in the "delivery new e-mail to the following location"
drop-down.

The pros for keeping the mail on the server is that it will get backed up
and that people can share mailboxes, allowing people to delegate if they
choose. There are others as well. The biggest con is that if a local PST
get corrupted, you can lose a lot of information.
