email link takes me to internet properties

hi,
Why has the email link from the top of my start menu stopped linking me to
Outlook and now opens the Internet Properties box instead?

How can I change this back and why does it do it in the first place. I have
noticed this happen on a number of machines that I manage over time.

Delete the shortcut for Outlook that is pinned to the Start Menu. Then find
Outlook in the Program list on the Start Menu and right-click and choose
"Pin to Start Menu".
