"Introduction" is not a standard mail field afaik, so depending on the
reciepient this could give unwanted results.
If it were a "standard" field, you would be able to see it in your
Outlook Express.

Anyway, please don't use Word to send an email.
Use a text processor to write text documents.
Use a mail program to send and recieve email.
Attach documents to an email if you must, but be strict when sending
and relaxed when receiving. Don't assume the person on the other side
will understand you.

If it has an "X" in the name, it must be Linux?

In Word, when you select File, Send To, Mail Recipient it should open up the
Mail box which should contain the fields To, CC, BCC, Subject and
Introduction. But this only happens if you are using Word as your email
editor for Outlook (not Outlook Express).

If you have a version of Office prior to Office 2003, I would not recommend
using Word as your email editor though as there are too many bugs and
gremlins. It is fine for Office 2003 though. Also, Word and Outlook need to
be the same version - not say WordXP with Outlook 2003.

This confirms my previous answer.

Only ask questions with yes/no answers if you want "yes" or "no" as the
answer.
