I JUST INSTALLED MS OFFICE XP, AFTER INSTALLING I WENT
BACK TO MAKE OUTLOOK EXPRESS MY DEFAULT EMAIL PROGRAM AND
NOW WHEN I CLICK ON THE "MAIL" LISTED IN MY STARTUP MENU
THE "INTERNET PROPERTIES" WINDOW OPENS INSTEAD OF OUTLOOK
EXPRESS. IF I GO TO "SET PROGRAM ACCESS & DEFAULTS" IT
ONLY HAS ONE CHOICE AND IT IS "USE MY CURRENT EMAIL
PROGRAM' AND I CANNOT UNCHECK IT OR CHANGE IT.

Your problem seems to be that you have something stuck on your shift or
caps-lock keys, try removing this object and post back if you still have not
solved your problem.

Don't YELL at us!!! We can read the post better if you don't put it in all
caps!

What does it show if you go to tools --> Internet Options --> Programs from
within IE?

Posted 'as is'. If there are any spelling and/or grammar mistakes, they
were a direct result of my fingers and brain not being synchronized or my
lack of caffeine.

Sorry I didn't know I was yelling :) Went to where you
said and under programs the "Email" is blank and it can
only be changed to MS Outlook, Outlook Express is not in
the drop down window. T
