I am using Word to put together emails that contain some Word Art autoshapes
and graphic logo (gif & tif) image. When I merge them to Outlook email using
my contact list and send, the recipients don't get the images in their
email. They end up with the typical empty graphic placeholder with the x.
And the Apple recipients see nothing but the text. Is there something I'm
missing not doing before I send the email? I certainly know I get a lot of
spam that has images in them. It seems as if the images are not getting
attached to the email when sent.

Thanks in advance.

Your images need to be placed on a web site, and their location linked to
the web site. Currently their location link is to your C: drive.

ok, I need some help! I placed my images on my website in my "images"
folder. Now how do I link them? I have tried placing the image in my
document from my hard drive then linking them using the hyperlink feature.
But it's not working! Is there a way to insert the image in my document by
using the "insert" command and pointing it to the file website address? If
not, how does one link the two images after placing the image in my document
from the hard drive?

1. Place your image on your web site in the images folder.

2. Place your image in your Outlook message with Word as the Editor;
Insert> Picture> From File and browse to your image, Insert

3. Browse to your image on the internet. such as:
http://www.anthemwebs.com/images/boneless.jpg

4. Select and copy the complete URL to the clipboard.

5. Right click on the image in your message, choose Hyperlink. Paste the
hyperlink in the address field, and OK.

I create my messages in FrontPage, but it is not necessary as this was done
in Outlook 2003. Following distribution, I place them on the web site:
