email has dots between words

When I type email my word program give me dots between word and a symbol when
I hit enter. I know I have bumped the keyboard to cause this. Any ideas to
restore the original settings would be greatly appreciated.
 
Click the ¶ key on the standard toolbar (or CTRL+*) to toggle the setting.
