Email doesn't download automatically any more

I thought I posted this yesterday, but can't find it now so if you see this
twice, my aplogies. I recently turned off having OL send/receive emails
(every 5 minutes) and now, after resetting it back to 5 minutes I can't get
it to work. I've tried everything in TOOLS|OPTIONS|MAIL SETUP|SEND/RECIEVE
and nothing seems to work.

A shot in the dark, but is File>Work Offline checked or not?
