Email Auto Signature Font

I notice when I reply to some emails the font in my auto signature changes
from the default which is set up as Arial 10 to around Arial 14. I suspect it
has something to do with the format of the senders email as it only happens
when I reply to some emails.
 
Does the message format make a difference? What version of Outlook are we
talking about?

Hello, my company is experiencing the same thing. We have a specific font,
color, size, line spacing etc. and several folks have asked why their
signture turns all blue (for instance) in a reply. We use Outlook 2003. Users
all choose different message formats for their emails. I did find the MO
Assistance article "Stop putting extra line spaces in my signatures", very
helpful. Is there any way to protect the signature from format changes no
matter what message format, sending, replying, forwarding?
