Hi every one,
I have some emails with big files attached to them. I have saved the files
but do not know how to delete the attachments because I do not want to delete
the mails. I have not much space on my drive. Can some body give me some
advice on how to get around this?
My operating system is Windows XP Prof. SP2. IE 6, using Outlook Express 6.
Norton Anti Virus 2005

Yakis,

Before saving the message, select 'Reply', then save it. Attachments are
removed when replied to.

Two ways:

1. Drag the message to the desktop and edit it with Notepad or WordPad to
remove the attachment and then drag it back into OE.

2. Get OEX (www.oehelp.com).

Dear Mr. Saunders,
It has been a pleasure to have posted my problem here.
Thank you very much for your help, I solved it by deleting the attachment
tags in Notepad and saved it. When I opened the email again, the attached
fles were all gone and the message body remained. I then dragged the email
back to my Inbox. Thanks man.
Have a nice day,
yakis
