email alert doesn't work

i uise the MSN Messenger , recently i got a problem that when I get an email I don't get an alert saying that I receive and Email - But If I log off and then log back in, I get an alert saying that I have (number of emails) email(s). I looked at the options to see if it was disabled or anything but there isn't anything that would prevent that. And also when I done checking the emails, the "You have 3 emails" should be off on my msn messenger but it doesn't disapear till I log off and log back in.

I use the same MSN Messenger with another email address and it works perfectly. Can anyone help me?
 
I have the same exact problem as you.I have written MSN and just get the run around I dont think they know what to do so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.Goodluck We'll need it
 
Well join the crowd! It also happens with Windows
Messenger and MSN and Microsoft will not admit that it is
their problem. I have also been bouncing emails back and
forth for a couple weeks now without any luck. I know we
are NOT the only ones having this problem, so what does
that tell you!
