I would like to know how to embed an Email address in a PowerPoint
presentation so that by clicking on it the appropriate Email programme will
start and address the mailnote.

My target audience would be using Outlokk, Outlook Express or POP3 servers

All suggestions welcome

Highlight the text and choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu. The
details vary by version after that, but you should be able to find an
option for email. Also, if the text you want to be the link is an email
address, in most versions, if you type the email address and hit SPACE or
ENTER after it, it will automatically set it up as a link

It's pretty simple:

Select either the text or the shape you want to make "clickable"
Choose Insert, Hyperlink
Enter this as the address:

mailto:[email protected]

(substitute the real email address for (e-mail address removed))

Depending on your PPT version, if you first click "Email address" under Link
To: you get more options.
