I think my email account has been infected with a virus that allowed the
sender to access my address book or they sent my address and personal info
to many yahoo groups. My question is, What can I do short of changing my
email address? I'm being flooded with messages, and most of them are encoded
or have locked attachments.

This is a Microsoft Access database newsgroup so you may get better answers
elsewhere. There isn't much you can do other than being careful. If you
notice, you are posting your email address (I changed it to xxx to hide
another instance) When you post your true email address, you are just asking
for spam and viruses. I use a fake address on the newsgroups and still get
about 150 spam and 60 to 80 viruses a day. All you can do is delete them
and/or change your email address.
