Manuals cost money, you can buy many commercial manuals at
office supply stores.
Windows XP Power Toys Image resizer works well, a free
download, just Google for Power Toys+XP.
Open Internet Explorer / Tools/Internet Options and set
Outlook Express as your mail client on the programs tab. On
the connections tab remove the MSN connection. If you have
MSN Explorer installed remove it in add/remove programs.
If you want a good and free photo editor IRFanview is very
good and can resize and edit photos and change their format.
Actually XP and Outlook Express are very good, you just have
to remember that HELP is application specific so you will
get different help in Windows Explorer than you get with
Internet Explorer and Outlook Express is different too.

line in FILE AND FOLDER TASKS, my computer attempts to log
on to MSN.com They are no longer my internet provider. I
have Roadrunner and I use OUTLOOK EXPRESS exclusively for
my email. How do I get FILE AND FOLDER TASKS to send the
photo to OUTLOOK EXPRESS ? The HELP for Windows XP is
totally useless. Please help. I have to ATTACH photos to
the emails in OUTLOOK EXPRESS. The recipient receives this
gigantic photo that is 4x the size of the monitor screen.
How can you resize the photo before or when you attach it to
the email in OUTLOOK EXPRESS? XP HELP sucks big time again
in this area. Why doesn't XP have a manual you can hold in
your hands?????
