I recently used F8 to use the startup menu. Now, whenever I power on, I get
a Real Mode (black & white) menu which asks me: Boot from CD ROM or Boot
from Hard Drive?
How can I get rid of this text menu? Thanks anyone.

Change the boot order in cmos setup back to start from hard disk as first
option.

Dave;
That should not be necessary.
Simply removing the bootable CD will stop that screen from coming up.

Alan;
A bootable CD in the drive will cause that screen to come up if CD drive is
in the boot sequence before the hard drive.
Simply remove the CD.

Thanks for the the replies lads. I'll inform my client of your suggestion re
removing the CD. If it doesn't work, I'll be back. Thanx again.
