I would like to eliminate the need for a password before other networked computors can use my harddrive, files, etc. Now another computor must enter a password before they can use my computor. However I do not need a password before I can log on to their computor. How can I eliminate the need for another computor to logon with a password. Hope I've made myself clear

Thanks for your response...however I don't follow you. I am not very
familiar with XP home networking. I want to do away with the need for
passwords. We have 3 computers. Two do not ask for a password when
being connected to. The third one does. I would like to set up the
3rd computer to act like the other two...to stop asking for a
password and immediately allow log in to each other after a reboot.
The two computers seem to be logging on as a guest i.e. Computor Name
\guest. Could you tell me how to set up the third computor without a
password requirement. Thanks again

Disable Simple File Sharing in your folder options (control panel, folder
options, view).
