Eliminate 2 sec delay between tracks

When I copy music to CDs, Windows Media Player puts a 2-
second space between tracks...some songs are originally
recorded on more than one track withOUT a delay. But
Media Player insists on chopping up the song into tracks
separated by 2 seconds of blank space. How can I fix this?

Use Nero or the free Nero plug-in for WMP9.
