El-Torito image takes almost half an hour to boot! Is this normal behaviour?

hi Slobodan,
I have created El-Torito as described in documentation. The Target hardware
configurations are 800MHz VIA Processor,256/512MB RAM, CDROM of 36X. The
footprint is around 160MB and creared 600MB ISO image. Could not find the
problem. do have any idea on what might be the problem.???

Do you have all QFE's installed?
Otherwise no idea. Boot should be in a less than a minute.
Where does it get stuck? What do you see?
How long does it take for ntldr to load all files trough BIOS calls? (This is first boot phase before you see load progress bar.)
How long do you see progress bar?
How long after progress bar till you see desktop?
How long from desktop until you gain control over it?
If you are able to boot to shell can you use ewfmgr c: and tell us if EWF is enabled? (This is absurd question since I don't think
that you would be able to boot otherwise, but ....)

Just to add some minors to that..
How the post-FBA image boots on the same device before you burn it on El-Torito CD?
Also, add /SOS switch to boot.ini to see if there are any delays on loading any driver(s).
