Effective way to update 100+ WinXP & Win2K clients ?

Hi all:

Our company has more than 100 users with WinXP & Win2K.
Other than manually or client base automatically update.
Are there any other ways to centralized update/control/ensure all these
updates can be performed in timely bases ?
Another objective is to mininize Internet and internal network traffic, &
user interruption ?
Any suggestion ? Thanks very much.

If you are running 2k SP3/XP SP1 (or better) you could look at SUS
(internally hosted version of Windows update).

do a search on Microsoft's site for Software Update Services (SUS)
