Is there a way to edit a scanned photo within PP? I tried scanning directly
into Adobe Photo Album but then I had to click insert from file ad infinitum
as I have about 100 photos to scan. I thought that I could scan directly into
PP to create my slide show. However, there doesn't seem to be a way of
optimizing the photos other than size and contrast and brightness. Any
suggestions?
Thank you

Hi Ginny,

While there are some adjustments that can be made in PowerPoint, you may be
better off using a different technique for inserting the pictures.

Use the scanner's software to scan the pictures to your hard drive. Edit
any that need editing with any graphics program and save them back to the
hard drive. When you are happy with the pictures, then use a bulk import to
insert all the pictures into PowerPoint. I have heard that some
presentations with direct scanned images can corrupt, and if they do so, you
do not have a back-up image.

For bulk importing of pictures into PowerPoint, you can use the Photo Album
feature (click on Insert | Picture | New Photo Album) or use a more user
friendly add-in called "Image Importing Wizard" at
http://www.mvps.org/skp/iiw.htm. I recommend the latter.
