Hi,

Further to the masses of headaches I am currently having is a problem with
working with queries in my access development. When I right click on a query
in Pivot chart view I get no options. When I try to change the view of my
open query through the view button i get no options altiough when I
customize my
buttons I can enter another view through the actual button.

Also my menu in on my database window is limited - I cant enter my
switchboard manager for instance!

Any ideas what this could be???

Thanks
Eamonn

Any ideas
Eamonn

I don't have the answer, but apparently you can read your database, just
can't do much editing. It is possible to set some restrictive database
options (with the purpose of protecting the contents from accidental
damage); if this be the case with your database, something you might try
is to open a new, blank database file and import into it the objects
(such as Tables, Queries, &c.) from your current database that you want
to keep. (You might need to reconstruct the relationships via the
Relationships Window.) In a new database, there shouldn't be too many
restrictions on what you can do to the objects in it.
