Editing excell object in word form

I am creating a Word form and I want to allow users to edit an embedded excell object. I have placed the excel object in an unprotected section of the form. However, once the form is locked I cannot edit the object. How can I allow form users to edit the excel object?
 
Hi J,

Make sure that your embedded object is inline with the text (Not floating or
with text wrapped around) in your unprotected section, then you should not
have any problems.
