Edit pix BUT NOTwith paint

hi: i open my pix, then select a photo, it opens in windows picture/fax
viewer. when i hit edit, it sends pic to Paint. i don't like using Paint,
always have a prob w/image size - attributes. can i send pix to another
program as default? thanks
 
Start>control panel>folder options>file types tab
select the file ending and choose the program , check the box that says
always use this program to open

messing with registry is a dangerous way to do it if you are not a computer
techie.

Your instructions are fine for "Open With"
if you wish to bypass Windows Picture
And Fax Viewer but will not change the
default editor.
