Edit menu pops up

I am using Office XP Professional. When I am in Word, the Edit menu opens ALL the time!!! I can be sitting here looking at the screen and it will open! What can I do to stop this from happening until I want it open? It's driving me crazy!!!

Turn off speech recognition. (See the Tools menu)

Thanks, Mike! I did actually try that last night when I sneezed and a whole bunch of stuff popped open!!! Worked great. Thanks.
