I'm looking to edit or customize the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" (F8). I
would like to be able to add another entry into the menu. Doing it this way
rather then using the boot.ini removes the temptation for the user to select
the alternate os to boot from. Even if you set the timeout to 3/5 seconds the
user still see's the section option. So doing it this way is more secure and
convenient for my team.

Thanks in Advance..

If there is only one value in the [Operating Systems] section in the
Boot.ini file, the Boot Menu is not displayed. Windows starts immediately
because there is no choice to be made.

If you need the Boot Menu to be displayed, edit the Boot.ini file and create
a second entry in the [Operating Systems] section. You can copy the
existing entry in that section. After you add a second entry, the Boot Menu
is displayed and the Timeout value is used.

Well actually i specified in my post that i did not want to use the
boot.ini/timeout. I would like to add an entry to the Advanced Options Menu.
When windows begins to bootup you press F8 and go into the "Advanced Options
Menu" that is where i want to add and entry. thanks
