Edit a worksheet command button

Using 2003 - I have inherited a workbook that has various command
buttons on the worksheets. The buttons are attached to a macro.
I need to edit the buttons but I can't seem to get the button into the
edit mode. How do I do that?

If they're commandbuttons from the Control toolbox toolbar, then show that
toolbar: View|Toolbars|Control Toolbox

Then click on the Design mode icon.
Do the work
and click on that design mode icon once more to get back to normal.
