what is the name of the most economical WORD program to go to for commercial
use ? And is it possible to upgrade to that commercial program from a MS WORD
program that is part of MS office Home and student edition 2007?

You could download OpenOffice for free. It works very like Word and
can save in the Word .doc format.

Hi Pythagoras,

With the exception of the Home & Student edition with its 3 computer license, all of the other retail Microsoft Office 2007
products, which allow 2 machine installs for the same person, remove the 'non-commercial' restriction.

You may want to check with local schools as well, sometimes enrolling in a college level course or even some extension courses will
allow you to obtain Office products through the school/bookstore at discount prices (but check for any limits on their licenses).
