Easter eggs

Does anyone know of any easter eggs on XP..... i don't think microsoft have
beatten the old favorite of excel 97!!!! with the flight simulator!!!!

please can someone let me know if they find any at all!!!!!!!

Easter eggs are not allowed in windows anymore. MS didn't want the
programmers putting in unsupported features, which easter eggs are
considered.

I'm not sure what you mean. How would an easter egg creep into windows? They
are not allowed anymore. This is why xp doesn't have any. Starting with XP
and supposedly all versions after xp will not have easter eggs. An easter
egg is programmed right into the code and ms didn't want programmers adding
unsupported code. Another person posted a hidden text file that ms added
with quotes in it as being an easter egg. This is not, it's just a text
file. Easter eggs have to be coded in.

That's not an easter egg, its just a text file. Easter eggs technically are
programmed into the code of the app. An included text file on install is not
an easter egg.

"Any" software/program that is used in US Government
operations cannot have embedded "Easter Eggs" inside
of them.

That's right. That was the deciding factor behind having no easter eggs. The
us gov didn't want them. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

In order to comply with regulations to ( hopefully ) receive Government
Contracts. Microsoft can not put Easter Eggs ( Un-Documanted Features )
into their software.
