earthlink ISP unable to send email

I have an earthlink DSL connection to the internet.
About a month ago I started not being able to send email
from my pop3/smtp server via outlook. I can recieve
email but I cannot send it. I get an error message that
refers me to either the ISP or the network server of my
email account. Well, I've hassled my network's server
and it isn't them, because I can send email if I send it
from their website. How can I adjust either Outlook or
my earthlink settings so that I can send email from
Outlook again?

What is the exact error message you're getting? What version of Outlook do
you have?
