I am having a big problem. Every 1 minute and 8 seconds an event occurs in
my Event Viewer:Application Log (actually, 2 events occur but they are
really one in the same. One is a ID 2002 and the next is ID 2003.) It reads:
-------------------------
The description for Event ID ( 2002 ) in Source ( EAPOL ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following
information is part of the event: The event log file is corrupt..
-------------------------
Searching the internet provides me with enough information to know that
EAPOL is attributed to my IEEE 802.1x wireless connection (in some manner).
But that is as much as I know. I am running a Belkin F5D7001 wireless card.
Will someone please help me with this. It has really been a hassle.
Thanks,
Blair
