e-mail's in outlook express

In outlook express, When i have read and deleted all the e-
mail's in my inbox,It shows that i still have 38 e-mails
not read, But there are none showing. How do i bring up
the remaining (38)e-mails? I have tride to open them by
right clicking on them, But nothing happened. Thank You

If there are none showing what exactly did you right click on?
Is it possible that it is showing 38 unread messages but that they are in
the "Deleted Items" folder?
If that is the case, and I'd bet it is, then just delete them from that
folder or change the option under
Tools | Options | "Maintenance" tab to automatically delete them when you
exit OE.
